Shoreditch Coffee Blend

Fresh Coffee Beans from Brazil, Colombia & Rwanda. A rich, caramel & chocolate flavour with some spicy high notes and a good mouth feel. Great for milky drinks and espresso. Used regularly on our Brick Lane Pitch in the cab. 

The Shoreditch Coffee Bean blend came from our coffee cab being placed on Brick Lane in Shoreditch, East London. It was our very first pitch in central London in the now world famous street food market. We wanted to create an exciting, fresh and delicious blend of coffee that the customers that came to see us would be amazed by, not just by the Black Cab making coffee but by the whole experience.

Customers enjoy this blend as an espresso as it has great body, smooth mouth feel and a real kick of flavour from the delicious freshly roasted coffee made in the traditional Italian way using a Lever Press Coffee machine. This coffee bean blend was designed to retain flavour in milky coffee as well and retains its flavour in the form of flat whites, lattes and cappuccinos owing to it’s body and intense flavours. With the addition of correctly steamed milk the resulting drink is strong, sweet and packed full of flavour which has made Black Cab Coffee the ‘go to’ coffee vendor in East London on a Sunday.

We roast our coffee fresh, in Battersea, by the river using our Geissen coffee roaster. You can come down and watch the process when Grey is in carrying out roasting duties. We take our coffee seriously but we have fun whilst we do what we do.
